Established in 2009, PREA Israel is the Association affiliated with The National Association of Purebred Spanish Horse Breeders of Spain (ANCCE) for promotion of, and services relating to, the PRE horse in Israel. P.R.E. stands for Pura Raza Española, or Purebred Spanish Horse, known also by its initials P.R.E. or PRE horse.

The single worldwide stud book for the PRE horse, held in Spain is called Libro Genealógico del Caballo de Pura Raza Española (LG PRE ANCCE), and is managed by ANCCE in Sevilla, Spain. PREA Israel staff and directors have a strong relationship with ANCCE ensuring the best possible service for Israeli PRE owners and breeders. In order to further our efforts, PREA Israel strongly encourages all Israeli breeders and owners to contact the Association Secretary.

The purpose of the PREA Israel shall be to:

• Celebrate and promote the versatility of the Pure Spanish Horse
• Foster the growth of the P.R.E. community in Israel
• Advance among its members and to the public a better understanding of P.R.E. horsemanship
• Recognize and honor the achievements of our P.R.E. Exhibitors and Riders
• Sponsor competitions and other activities for the purpose of furthering the art of P.R.E dressage and other educational activities
• Organize public P.R.E. exhibitions, seminars and clinics in Israel
• Provide guidance, assistance and support to all member Breeders with Spanish P.R.E. Stud Book matters
• Maintain cordial relations with the Spanish P.R.E. Stud Book as managed by ANCCE
• Uphold and adhere to the regulations of the Spanish P.R.E. Stud Book
